The Conference is emphasizing the area of Design Research

Submitted papers or extended abstracts will have three kinds of reviews: double-blind (by at least three reviewers), non-blind, and participative peer-to-peer reviews. Accepted papers of registered authors will be published in the printed copy and the CD versions of the Proceedings. The proceedings will also be published via web for Full Open Access

Authors of accepted papers who registered in the conference will have access to the reviews made to their submission so they can accordingly improve the final version of their papers. Non-registered authors will not have access to the reviews of their respective submissions

Each session programmed at the conference will have its respective VIRTUAL pre- and post- conference session. Papers can be read on-line and commented on during the 15 days previous to the face-to-face session and during the 15 days following the end of the Conference

Awards will be granted to the best paper of those presented at each session. From these session's best papers, the best 10%-20% of the papers presented at the conference will be selected for their publication in Volume 7 of JSCI Journal (http://www.j-sci.com/Journal/SCI/). Libraries of journal author's organizations will receive complimentary subscriptions of at least one volume (6 issues)

Also, we would like to invite you to organize an invited session related to a topic of your research interest. If you are interested in organizing an invited session, please, fill out the respective form provided in the conference web page: http://www.ICTconfer.org/wmsci/Organizer.asp .We will send you a password, so you can include and modify papers in your invited session

Important Dates

Deadlines for papers accepted before or on January 7th, 2009
November 19th, 2008: Submission of draft papers (2000-5000 words), extended abstracts (400-2000 words) and abstracts for-presentation-only (200-500 words).
November 19th, 2008: Invited Sessions proposals. Acceptance of invited session proposals will be done in about one week of its proposal via the respective conference web form, and final approval will be done after the inclusion of at least five papers in the respective session.
January 7th, 2009: Notifications of acceptance.
February 11th, 2009: Submission of camera-ready or final versions of the accepted papers.
