The 2010 edition of "Promosedia International Design Competition" launched by The Chamber of Commerce of Udine invites deisgners to create new chairs.

The contest is to stimulate the development of creative and innovative ideas that are technically feasible and producible.

Participants are asked to deliver projects that are distinguished by their originality, quality of innovation, functionality, ergonomics, choice of materials and the requirements of mass production. Additionally, ideas for indoor chair must provide a significant use of wood.

The competition is open to architects, designers and students of the Institute of Design and Architecture Faculty. They should not have completed their 35th year as of September 1, 2010.

The projects submitted must be original and unpublished before this competition.

Deadline and Awards:
All entries must be received by September 30, 2010.
The winner will receive a prize of 3 thousand and 500 euros.
