The theme of the 22nd CIRP Design is "Sustainable Product Development"- development that focuses on creating products that would sustain economy while ensuring sustenence of both society and ecology. This is a key challenge of growing global inportance that affects all stakeholders of a product's life cycle, both current and future. The conference will provide a plateform for exchange of ideas, discussion, and debates about the issued faced and resolution possible. The conference welcomes original work on all aspects of design research, a cross section of which is provided in the list of topics.
