Typography - Love Letters
EMAIL
TEXT SIZE PRINT

Opening: Closed
Closing: Closed

To improve your ability to use typography creatively and with impact in your work.

Pencils, graph paper, sponges, paint, scissors, layout pads. Letters to cut out and stick down, just like the old days.  Strictly no laptops. How does that make you feel? Excited? Ok, you’re in.

This is a day to ditch the technology and get to grips with letters. To take a look at the past, present and future of typology. With no briefs or deadlines it’s an opportunity to scrutinize and question, experiment and explore.  A chance to fill in any gaps in your knowledge, to question your assumptions and try out new techniques.  This is a practical session with some demonstrations, a bit of chat, lots of exercises and plenty of time to practice – an opportunity to work with a master of the craft and take your skills to the next level. No batteries required.

The next session will be:
06/04/2010

Key Audience
Designers and Advertising Creatives, especially Art Directors.
