School Programmes:
The topics of the technical programmes include three main areas:

•  Environment protection legislation and sustainable development strategy;
•  Theoretical and experimental investigation of ocean renewable energy, generation of electricity using offshore wind turbines, and design for ocean renewable energy; and
•   Sustainable product design technologies, product lifecycle assessment, environment accounting methods, environment manage systems, and measurement of ecological footprints, evaluation of computer added lifecycle assessment tools.
The cultural programme includes cross-cultural learning programme for UK-based and China-based researchers and city tour to Harbin

About the scholarship:
This call is open to UK-based early-career researchers and research students. The scholarship covers the following per attendee of the school:
•  Up to 650 pounds for international travel (to be claimed by receipts)
• Free international student accommodation at Harbin Engineering University
•  Free meals
