Born in 1958 in London, United Kingdom

. had his bachelor's from Kingston Polytechnic Design School and his master's from Royal College of Art in 1984,
. moved to Milano and worked as a design consultant for Olivetti Design Studio under the supervision of Michele De Lucchi and Ettore Sottsass,
. worked in Toshiba Design Center for a year in 1987 for a design research project,
. founded his own design studio in Milan in 1988 and had Capellini and SCP as his first clients,
. ran his studio at the same time when he was the responsible for the design crew at Sottsass Associati Milan ,
. taught at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe between 2005-2007,
. designed for Alfi, Alias, Artemide, B&B Italia, Canon, Coro, Duravit, Foscarini, LG, Magis, MDF Italia, Muji, Olivari, Phaidon, Ströer, Thonet, Whirlpool, WMF and Zumtobel.
