SECCO SHOP comes to Istanbul for the Eco Design Meeting

 SECCO (Sustainable Economy Collection Company) team is attracting international attention with their designs that are transforming waste to enjoyable, meaningful and functional products.

Mana Design organisation (www.mana-design.org) invited the general manager of SECCO SHOP: Isabella Haas to the seminar in May 24 that will take place in Istanbul Technical University in the frame of the continuing Eco Design Meeting.

Other presentations that will take place in the seminar were:

“Design for Sustainable Life” prepared by Tuna Özçuhadar and Pınar Öncel from Sustainable living Collective. The presentation will be about the efffects of the production, consumption and waste processes of the designs that are conceived with the wholistic approach to the economy, ecosystem and to the cycles of our planet.  They are aiming at inspiring designers by giving examples of products designed and produced with cradle to cradle approach.

Aynur Acar from Union of Municipalities of the Marmara Region will tell about the recycling applications of municipalities.
